For over 25 years Operators have been sharing well data very efficiently between themselves via the Reviews. They use this data to help them better plan and budget their well operations as well as provide a driver for, and a measure of, performance improvement.
In 1989 twelve Operators came together in Aberdeen to rationalise the process of sharing offset drilling data for the first time. They agreed on a standard set of metrics and definitions that they would use in common. They added a layer of quality control to ensure the data was sufficiently reliable to be of real use to them.
From this modest beginning the Reviews have grown to encompass drilling, completions, interventions and abandonment data from 100 countries contributed by hundreds of Operating Companies from conventional hydrocarbon, shale and coal seam gas wells.
The Rushmore Reviews are the only source of global offset well data provided directly by the Operator and then independently quality controlled providing insights from over 50,000 wells, 10,000 completions and workovers and hundreds of well abandonments.
Only Operators may participate.. For more information please email or call us on +44 (0) 1224 251040.
